Passionate about quality sound reproduction for over 30 years, we have listened to, compared and experimented with all the speaker technologies available on the market: electrodynamic, high efficiency, electrostatic, ribbons in different forms, flat speakers with rigid membranes, etc. Each of these technologies has undeniable qualities, but we are convinced that the one that brings together the most advantages and allows music to be reproduced most naturally are Isodynamic speakers, also known as Magnetostatics.
Diffusion over a large surface by plane wave which allows for immersive listening without the effect of sound projection.
Dipole operation, on both sides of the speakers, to recreate the spatialization of the concert in your listening room.
The use of extremely thin mylar membranes for high speed and no drag effect.
The same type of membrane is used from bass to treble, everything operates at the same speed, which provides consistency in dynamic behavior across the entire spectrum.
No speaker at the rear of the speaker; there is no "box coloration" linked to the hum of the midrange in the speaker. The timbres of the voices and instruments are perfectly respected.
A consistent, balanced and detailed listening experience even at low levels.
A regular impedance that does not represent a complex load for the amplifier.
High reliability over time, our speakers are not affected by dust or humidity, they do not have a high voltage circuit.
The isodynamic technology, well known to music lovers, was developed in the United States in 1970. Through our extensive testing and experimentation, we have sought innovative solutions to improve this technology and push its limits, particularly for the reproduction of low frequencies.
A modular mechanical structure. It is composed of the assembly of an MDF structure, the chassis of the membranes is made of ultra-rigid HPL Composite and the 2mm steel sheets are held tight by numerous mechanical screws. This assembly is perfectly rigid and non-resonant, it is a mechanical reference which guarantees the absence of coloration and the respect of the timbres. In addition, this assembly allows the disassembly of the speakers for very easy replacement of the membranes.
Proprietary ribbon tweeters. The ribbon is made like an isodynamic cell (Mylar film and aluminum winding). It moves in an intense magnetic field made from neodymium magnets. These tweeters operate over a wide frequency range and connect perfectly with the isodynamic cells. A simple filter (12 dB per octave) allows for a perfect blend of registers. The treble is smooth, precise and shoots high to give a sublime airiness to the soundstage.
Push Pull Bipolar Magnet is an innovative patented architecture. Custom-made, large-section bipolar magnets are placed at the front and rear of the diaphragm, maintaining the voice coil (aluminum ribbons) in a constant magnetic field. This allows the diaphragm to be perfectly controlled, delivering dynamic bass and accurate reproduction of transient sounds. Listening to a grand piano is strikingly realistic.
EXCLUSIVE REFERENCE MKII TECHNOLOGY
For the model References, we have developed an exclusive technology: Crossed Push Pull. Each bass cartridge is powered by two independent windings (one vertical and one horizontal). This design allows the 22 µm Mylar membrane to vibrate with hundreds of small square motors, ensuring uniform vibration without distortion. The Crossed Push Pull This ensures very linear bass, with extremely low distortion and efficiency far superior to traditional isodynamic systems. This technology allows for deep and powerful bass reproduction, while maintaining impeccable precision.
